Tips for Printing the Printable Application

If you would like to print our printable Nannies Plus application so that you can fill it out later, please follow these helpful hints.

If the lines seem to be wrapping incorrectly - set the page margins to:
A). In Internet Explorer 4.0 do this by choosing File | Page Layout from the menu. Set the top, left and right margins at 0.75 inches, and the bottom margin at one inch. You can set the print preferences to print the form title and page #'s at the top (page header) and print the file name and date at the bottom (page footer).
B). In Netscape go to 'File' from the menu and choose 'Page Setup'. Select "Beveled Lines" for the 'Page Options'. Leave the rest of the options unchecked in this category. Select "0.50" for the Top, Bottom, Left and Right Margins. And make sure all are selected for Header and Footer Preferences. Click the "OK" button. You can also view how your printed document will look by selecting 'Print Preview' from the 'File Menu'.

If the lines seem to be wrapping incorrectly or page breaks occur at weird places - you may not have the same font on your machine and your browser's default font does not look good with the forms. Try switching to Times New Roman, medium size. You would do this by:
A). Netscape = go to 'Edit' and 'Preferences' on the menu bar. Choose fonts and select the appropriate font.
B).In Internet Explorer 4.0 = 'View' and 'Internet Options' on the menu bar.

If the first two tips don't help, try highlighting the whole document, copy it to the clipboard (Ctrl + C), open your word processor and paste (Ctrl + V) into a new document.
